TRUMBULL RAISES THE COLORS AS UNITED RIDE COMES THROUGH

 

8/30/2009- Ladder Tower 204 made its way to the Marisa's parking lot today to help raise the American Flag for the 9th Annual CT United Ride.  The CT United Ride is a motorcycle ride honoring those who lost their lives, those who gave their lives, and those who continue to put their lives on the line each day as a result of the tragedies occurring on 9/11.  The ride travels with full police escort through 11 cities and towns; Norwalk, Westport, Wilton, Georgetown, Redding, Bethel, Newtown, Monroe, Trumbull, Fairfield, and ending in Bridgeport.  Trumbull Center Tower 104 held the other end of the flag for the first archway.  Nichols brought Quint 303 with their flag as well to hang over Route 111.  Paugasset Hook & Ladder Co & Echo Hose Hook & Ladder Co. also brought their Trucks to Main Street to participate in the ride giving the riders 2 archways to travel under in Trumbull.
