LIMO FIRE ON INDIAN ROAD

3/16/2008- At 17:46 hrs, Long Hill was dispatched to Indian Road for the reported car fire.  LH-3 was first on scene and reported a limousine with the engine compartment on fire and in close proximity to another vehicle.  Squad 209 was on scene a short time later and extinguished the fire with assistance from Engine 205.  Rescue 200 responded but was not used.  (Photo courtesy of J. RESCUE HANDLES MVA ON CHURCH HILL ROAD

3/6/2008- At 12:56 hrs, Long Hill was dispatched to the intersection of Church Hill Road & Val Demere Ave for the reported motor vehicle accident with a car smoking.  LH-3 was first to arrive and reported 2 vehicles involved, no entrapment, a fluid spill, and the smoke apparently coming from the airbag deployment.  Rescue 200 mitigated the spill, disconnected the batteries of both vehicles and stood by on scene until the wreckers removed the vehicles from the road. R-200 cleared from the scene in 25 minutes.
